A Strong Attempt
A "full attempt" gets you full credit. Even if the answers are incorrect. BUT if all you're getting is error messages, you should be including a few notes in your journal about what syntax you were trying and how you tried to troubleshoot and why you think it didn't work. We want to see that you attempted everything. And that's it! Below are two options for how to submit.
Whichever option you choose, I need to be able to see the commands (your syntax in stata), the outputs (the tables produced) and your interpretation of the outputs/responses to the prompts in the activity).
Submitting your Activity Journal, Option #1
The first option is to journal everything in a word doc. Include:
The commands you entered into stata ("tab conclerg" and so forth)
The outputs (screenshots of the tables produced)
Your notes: the interpretations of the outputs I ask for and your responses to the multiple choice prompts
Submitting your Activity Journal, Option #2
The second is a little harder, but if you'd like you may submit the entire assignment as it is output in a log file. To do this, you have to include your reflections, notes, and commentary *inside* the log file. The way you do this, is to simply add your notes and interpretations between your stata commands. You can do this by beginning any comments with an asterisk ("*") at the beginning of your comment. Stata will read that as as "note" and it will be reproduced in your log but it won't be read as a command and it won't produce an error.
It will look something like this:
. tab conclerg
[Stata will produce the table]
